I loved to help milk cows but was too short. I begged and begged my parents to let me buy a goat. After lots of calls, I finally found a farmer that was willing to sell me a goat. The farmer said she was crazy because she kept jumping the fence and running away. They were going to take her to the meat market. So I bought the “Crazy Goat” and now we lovingly call her Fern. Fern loves crunchy leaves and walking with me. I milk her 2x a day and once the milk began piling up I started experimenting with different milk products I could make.
