HOW IT’S MADE
THE PROCESS
Our soap making process first begins at the beginning with milking Taylors five dairy goats. The milk is then measured out and frozen. Once frozen the milk is added to the lye until the lye is fully dissolved. At the same time, all the oils are heated in a double boiler. Both bowls are mixed together.
Then the scent and color is added. Then once poured in the mold a top design is created. It takes almost a day before the soap can be unmolded and cut. From there it is hurry up and wait as each bar is “cured” or dried for 6 weeks.
