In 2020, 11 year old Taylor began to help milk at her uncle’s dairy farm. Unfortunately, she was too short so she begged and begged for her parents to let her buy a dairy goat. After dozens of calls we finally found a dairy farmer willing to sell a goat. The farmer nicknamed their goat the “crazy goat”, because she would jump the fence and run away. The farmer was planning on selling her to the meat market before we took her home and called her Fern. Taylor began milking fern 2x a day when she was only 11 years old.  Fern produced over a gallon of milk each day. Taylor then began experimenting with different soap recipes. The “Crazy Goat Soap” was then created and Taylor began selling her homemade soap. The rest is history…
